LAGO VISTA POLICE DEPARTMENT LAUNCHES CITIZEN FEEDBACK AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SOLUTION
The Lago Vista Police Department is excited to announce a new tool to keep citizens informed and collect feedback on non-life-threatening calls for service.
The Lago Vista Police Department is excited to announce a new tool to keep citizens informed and collect feedback on non-life-threatening calls for service. Soon, we will start sending text message surveys after certain types of interactions with our department, asking our citizens to rate the service they receive from our dispatchers and officers. Each survey will ask just a few questions about how satisfied you are and allow you to provide feedback.
Power Engage will send text messages when we receive your call to inform you that an officer is en route. We will also follow up with a survey six hours after your initial call, with quiet hours observed between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. This text will invite community members to participate in a quick survey about their experience during the call for service and the response they received. The survey allows community members to provide comments, feedback, or express their gratitude to the responding officer or a Dispatcher.
If you have called us, you may automatically receive a follow-up text from the number associated with your call. This is all part of our effort to improve communication and accountability within our community.
We value your feedback and want to hear how we're doing in our ongoing efforts to improve customer service in our community. Your input will also help us provide our officers with the necessary feedback to better understand how to serve you. Please note that not all residents will receive a survey, and if you do not wish to participate, you can choose not to respond or inform the department in advance by calling 512-267-7141.
Please remember, this feedback is not intended for making formal complaints or reporting emergencies or criminal activity.
