The Utility Administration Department serves all customer service activities involving Lago Vista's city services including utilities, streets, citizen complaints, and inquiries. The department also manages all utility and solid waste service billing activities and work orders for water/sewer taps and extensions.

Welcome to Our New Customers
We welcome you to Lago Vista and look forward to serving you. City utility services include water/sewer and trash/recycling services.
Three items are needed to establish your service:
- Please complete, sign, and return the City of Lago Vista Application for Water/Sewer Service (PDF) (including trash/recycling).
- A clear image of either your valid driver's license, state ID, or business tax ID is required to process your new utility service application.
- A $130 deposit is required for new service. This can be paid with a credit or debit card in person or over the phone. You can pay with cash in office or by check. This is a one-time fee and does NOT set you up for auto-pay.
If your completed application and copy (or emailed image) of your identification are received by 11 am, same-day service can be provided.
All necessary documents can be submitted to the Utilities Department in either way:
- In person at City Hall, 5803 Thunderbird Street.
- Email utility billing
