Non-Profit Funding Applications

The City of Lago Vista provides annual funding opportunities for qualified non-profit organizations whose projects or programs directly benefit the community. Funding requests are evaluated during the City’s budget process, with applications due by June 30th of each year. Applicants must demonstrate how their programs enhance the quality of life for residents, address unmet community needs, or encourage collaborative and sustainable solutions.

The City considers applications that:

  • Positively impact a substantial portion of the Lago Vista community.

  • Address needs not currently covered by City services.

  • Provide practical, measurable outcomes.

  • Encourage community participation and collaboration.

  • Minimize duplication of services and demonstrate sustainability over time.

The City does not fund endowments, religious activities, political lobbying, brick-and-mortar projects, or fundraising events.
