Important Notifications:

You have the right to plead guilty or no contest, waive your right to a trial by judge or jury, and pay your citation in full. Upon entering your plea and making payment, a finding of guilt will be entered, a judgment will be rendered, and a conviction will be reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety. 

If you are convicted of the offense of failure to maintain financial responsibility and you have prior convictions for this violation, your driver's license may be subject to suspension by the Texas Department of Public Safety. You must contact the Department of Public Safety for questions regarding the status of your driver's license. 

Not all cases filed with the Lago Vista Municipal Court are eligible for online payment due to statutory requirements. Examples of cases not eligible for online payment are shown below. Please contact the court for case options.

  1. Juvenile cases - (persons who are under the age of 17)
  2. Minor alcohol/tobacco offenses
  3. Offense involving family violence
