Streets Rehab Project

The City of Lago Vista has initiated a comprehensive street rehabilitation program to enhance and maintain the integrity of our city streets to ensure the safety and mobility of all residents and visitors. In response to the growing need for infrastructure improvements, the City of Lago Vista Public Works Department has developed a strategic plan to prioritize and address the rehabilitation of city streets. Streets are prioritized based on their condition, the presence of essential utilities, and the percentage of buildout, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to areas with the most critical need.

The street rehabilitation program is slated to begin in the summer of 2024 and will continue through the spring of 2026, covering a total of 240 roads. The program is structured as follows:

Summer of 2024: COMPLETED

Rehabilitation of 76 roads, which can be found below. This phase prioritizes streets with existing water and sewer utilities in very poor to fair condition.

Tranche 1 - COMPLETE

Late Winter/Early Spring 2025: COMPLETED

Rehabilitation of 45 roads, which can be found below.  This phase focuses on streets without complete utility installation, prioritized by their condition and percentage of buildout. Tranche 1 - COMPLETE (1)

Late Summer/Early Fall 2025:

Rehabilitation of 23 roads, which can be found below. This extension of Phase 2 was added due to favorable pricing and project efficiencies.
