Located on the north shore of Lake Travis in the greater Austin area, Lago Vista is a thriving little lake community with everything from hiking and biking trails, lake sports and a City Pool, local parks and amenities, playing golf at our local municipal Golf Course, enjoying a nearby winery and local brewery, exploring local restaurants and bars, to dozens of small "shop local" owner-operated businesses from health and wellness products to boutique clothing and pools supply retail.

There are also great neighboring area attractions to enjoy, that are only a hop, skip and jump away such as the Balconies Canyonland Conservancy, Arkansas Bend State Park, and Point Venture which has a floating restaurant and and a 9 hole Golf Course.

The North Shore also boasts a prolific arts and entertainment community with the iconic Hill Country Singers, large-scale Broadway productions by Lake Travis Music Theatre, the boutique Lago Vista Players,  and several events throughout the year for residents to enjoy such as LAGO FEST - an art, music, and food festival that usually happens in April.

Our schools rank Number 5 in the Austin Area for Academic Achievement and extra curricular activities.
