Road overlays will take place today, Monday, March 28, on Bar K Ranch Road and Annapolis Cove. Crews will also finish up the following roads; Turnback, Sierra Trail and Overhill Drive.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 29, crews will overlay Bison Trail.
Work may be done on several sections of the road during the day. Residents are strongly encouraged to obey the construction signs and barricades and stay off the newly overlaid road until they are reopened to traffic by the City or Contractor. Driving on the new surface too early can damage the material and require it to be patched. Work hours are 7 am to 7 pm. Monday through Saturday. Please keep the roadway clear of vehicles by 7 am this week for construction.
A Notice, in the way of a "Door Hanger", will be placed on the front door of each resident a few days prior to work starting on their street. Also, Orange Cones, with "NO PARKING" signs, will be placed on the street to remind residents not to park on the street on the day that street is scheduled to be resurfaced. Cars will be towed around the corner if in the way. Please avoid scheduling any deliveries during road work if possible. Emergency first responders will be allowed through for emergencies, and we will make every effort to get you in/out safely.
While this will be a short inconvenience to residents, it will help City efforts to maintain and preserve the streets. Your attention and cooperation in making this a safe and successful project is appreciated by both the City and the Contractor, Bennett Paving.
